ITS BIGGER THAN HIP-HOP......ITS ART!!!

You know before I could even begin writing this, I had to think a lot about hip hop,and research about certain things also, but still nothing came to my mind. I was clueless for about three days, then today (22 November) as I was chilling with my boys Crazy Thought Production, we were talking about an event that could've possibly changed our whole lives completely, just in the name of hip hop.
It goes to show how much we love hip hop, we breath it, we live it, we are it. It has gotten us into so much trouble, since back in our high school days. Freestylin at the library 'till late, forgetting that we have to go home. During the weekends we'd hustle to go to certain hip hop events just to be in an atmosphere filled with hip hop energy. The best part has to be the ciphers, where you'd see a crowd of emcees and random people, giving out props to an ill emcee, who has the gift to carry the invisible mic and use it to his advantage. Then there is the battles which have always been a way to increase skill and to test an emcee.
The streets we will never forget, because they made us who we are today. But still though having our own booth, going to gigs, dropping mixtapes, hip hop still manages to get us into trouble at times. Finding that we spend our time in the booth more than we do at home, having whole night recording sessions during exam time, getting the parents worried about what we might be doing at the place we always disappear off too.

Throughout the time living in this lifestyle we have been doing the same things, from the street emcee, to the cat in the booth, your hip hop dancers, hip hop DJ's, graffiti artists, everything associated with hip hop...We live it and I'm sure we die for it, all in the name of hip hop...

For every pair of lines I spit I leave you paralyzed and bend so clear a path. If you not parallel to my paragraphs Apparently if they say I'm better than you There's no reason for me to put myself on the petistule
Movin' forward ahead of you

Doorzichtige rap is leeg je blijft steken bij vele raampjes
En negen punt negen uit tien is zeker weten verdwaald
en de meter waarmee ik meet is door.

Sittin' in the lunchroom, eatin' and dreamin'
on about the things we do. When we reach in defendance
Nothing is brand-new it's all still a part of the plan

Nowhere to run to nowhere to hide. Sittin' on the front stoop right outside. Every man has got to bow down at God's grace Every soul has to concede to God's goals
Politicians get religious to the star people. As the constitution reader says I'm not equal
verses help 'em out like I found missin' person.

and the game is different, you get caught up in the twirl
and if your fam ain't effective, so here's our perspective
to help each other cause man ain't it hectic.
